DSC Lancaster, York, and Clover Programs

DSC is pleased to announce Tryouts in Lake Wylie/Clover, York and Lancaster.

Our experience and excellent coaching staff  will give your player the best soccer exeperience in your area and we invite your player to tryout for teams in Clover, York and Lancaster. 

Tryouts in these locations are for teams based in Lake Wylie/Clover, York  and Lancaster.

Eligibility: Player ages are based on age as of July 31, 2013. Click Here for Tryout Information Packet.
U8 born between 8/1/05 and 7/31/06
U09 born between 8/1/04 and 7/31/05
U10 born between 8/1/03 and 7/31/04
U11 born between 8/1/02 and 7/31/03
U12 born between 8/1/01 and 7/31/02

Arrival Time: Please arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to tryout start time to check in/warm up.

Tryout and Evaluation Schedule:

General Information:

•  DSC will serve these areas in the U8-U12 age groups.
• If you tryout in Clover, York  or Lancaster you will be placed on teams for these areas. If you are seeking placement for a Rock Hill team, then you should ONLY attend the  Rock HIll tryouts.  Please do not tryout in all locations.
• Teams will practice  2-3 nights a week in their local area. Goal Keeper Training is also available in Rock Hill.
• Teams will participate in the Sandlapper League and attend the same tournaments as Rock Hill teams.

Registration: All players must pre-register online.

• Your player must register in his/her true age group based on birth date as of July 31, 2013,  per the schedule listed above.
• If you previously created a user name and password to register for a program, you have an existing account and would return to that account  as a registered user to register for 2013-14.  Please choose the DSC Lancaster, DSC York  or DSC Clover programs when registering.
• If you have never registered for a DSC program, you are a new member, and would start by creating a username and password.  Please click here for registration instructions on how to register your player.

Tryout sessions will begin at the stated time. Bring ball and plenty of water; wear shin guards and cleats.

Tryout Fees: $25 per player (includes tryout t-shirt). You may pay online by credit/debit card or at the field with check or cash. Print your registration receipt and bring to check in.

All returning players must tryout and pay the tryout fee- no exceptions.

Team Placement:

• Players are evaluated and placed on teams with players of similar ability to promote growth and development of each player.
• Players will be notified within 24-48 hours of tryouts/evaluations.
• If you have a balance from the 2012-13 seasons or did not pay tryout fees, your player will not be placed on a roster until fees are up to date.
• To accept your roster slot, please pay the $200 non refundable commitment fee online at your account. If you are unable to pay with debit/credit card, please call Beth Balint at 803.547.4509 to arrange a payment option.

Commitment Night:

• Commitment night  for Clover and Lancaster Academy teams will be May 14 at Academy Sports + Outdoors, 2468 Cross Pointe Dr. (at Red River Rd.)
  Rock Hill, SC 29730  from 6:00-7:30 pm.
• Commitment night for York teams  tentatively schedulied for Monday, June 3. Details coming soon.
